Bag Dump Station

CYprocess bag dump stations — also called sack tip stations or manual dumping booths — let operators empty 10-50 kg bags inside a dust-tight hood. A bag sling holds the sack at working height and a patting device clears the residue, while local extraction keeps the tip zone under slight negative pressure.

Overview

About Bag Dump Station

How this equipment works in powder handling lines and what to consider when selecting it.

Working principle

The bag is opened on a grate inside the hood. A fan draws air from the tip zone through a filter, so airborne fines are captured instead of escaping into the workshop. Product falls through the grate into the transition hopper; lumps and tramp material stay on top, and collected dust returns to the hopper by pulse cleaning.

Options and integration

A bag sling holds the sack at an ergonomic tip height and a patting device empties the residue after tipping. The hood can carry an integral filter or be ducted to a central dust collector, and other options cover de-ironing, vibrating screens, bag collection and weighing. The hopper outlet feeds conveyors, weighers or mixers.

FAQ

Bag Dump Station FAQ

Common questions about selection, integration and quotation.

Standard stations are designed for 10-50 kg bags, with 25 kg the most common duty. Heavier or unusually shaped bags are reviewed individually, and tip height, grate size and hopper volume are adapted to your handling routine.
