Material Intake

Container Unloader

CYprocess container unloading systems — also called container dischargers or container-to-silo stations — empty powder and granules from shipping containers at ground level, so no pit or ramp is needed. Unloading and closed conveying are combined in one system.

Overview

About Container Unloader

How this equipment works in powder handling lines and what to consider when selecting it.

What the system does

Powder or granules are discharged from the container on an above-ground horizontal frame and conveyed straight into the next process step. Because unloading and transfer are one enclosed operation, dust stays contained and manual handling and product loss are both reduced.

Options and integration

Project installations reach about 40 t/h with vertical lifts of roughly 40 m, subject to material and layout. Product can be routed to storage silos, mixers or process vessels, or taken directly to a ton-bag packer, with a screw or pneumatic line carrying the material.

Features

Key Features

Design points that make the Container Unloader practical for industrial powder plants.

Ground-level installation — no pit excavation or ramp required
Unloading and enclosed conveying combined in one system
High-capacity bulk discharge, project-sized to the material
Closed transfer with extraction at the discharge point
Optional ton-bag packing directly after unloading
Low maintenance demand with few wear parts
Layout engineered around the site, not the other way round

FAQ

Container Unloader FAQ

Common questions about selection, integration and quotation.

A pit requires civil works, ventilation and drainage, and it cannot be relocated. An above-ground system avoids that investment, keeps the working area level, and can be moved or re-laid out when the plant changes.
