Vibrating Screen

CYprocess vibrating screens — also called vibro sifters or powder graders — classify powders and granules and remove oversize particles, agglomerates and foreign bodies before conveying, dosing or packing. Single- and multi-deck designs are supplied in stainless contact construction.

Overview

About Vibrating Screen

How this equipment works in powder handling lines and what to consider when selecting it.

Working principle

Product is spread across one or more screen decks and moved forward by vibration. Particles smaller than the mesh pass through, while oversize material and foreign bodies travel to a separate discharge. This protects downstream valves, feeders and packers and keeps product quality consistent.

Options and integration

Single-deck units cover simple safety screening; two or three decks split the product into defined fractions. Decks change quickly for product changeover, covers and outlets are dust-tight, and the screen normally sits directly under a bag dump station, a hopper or a vacuum feed point.

FAQ

Vibrating Screen FAQ

Common questions about selection, integration and quotation.

One deck is normally enough for safety screening — removing oversize and foreign bodies before the next step. Two or three decks are used when the product must be split into defined fractions, for example a fine grade and a coarse grade.
