Privacy Policy
What this website collects, why, and how you can control it. Written to be read, not to be skipped.
Who we are
This website, cyprocess.com, is operated by CHUYAO Powder Engineering (Shanghai) Co., Ltd.. We manufacture powder handling and pneumatic conveying equipment in Shanghai, China, and we are the controller of the personal data described on this page.
What this policy covers
This policy explains what is collected on this website, why we collect it, how long we keep it and what you can ask us to do about it. It does not cover other companies’ websites that we link to, nor information you send us through another channel such as email, WhatsApp, WeChat or a trade fair — although the same principles apply to those.
There are no user accounts, no newsletters and no payments on this site, so there is correspondingly little to describe.
Information you send us
The only place on this website that asks you for personal information is the inquiry form. It asks for your full name, email address, phone or WhatsApp number, company, country, product of interest and your requirement. Only the name, email address and requirement are compulsory — the rest helps us answer accurately but you can leave it out.
If you contact us directly by email, phone or WhatsApp instead, we receive whatever you choose to send, typically your name, contact details and technical requirements.
We use this information to answer your inquiry, prepare a quotation, and correspond with you about a possible order. We do not add inquiry addresses to a newsletter, and we do not pass them to advertising networks.
Why we are allowed to process it
Depending on the situation, we rely on one of the following: taking steps at your request before entering into a contract (for example preparing a quotation you asked for); our legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries; or your consent, where you have given it.
Analytics — only if you accept
We use Google Analytics 4 to understand which pages and products are useful to visitors. It is switched off by default.
Until you press “Accept analytics” on the banner, no analytics script is loaded, no analytics cookie is written and no request is sent to Google. If you decline, that choice is remembered and nothing changes.
When you do accept, three things happen:
- A measurement script is loaded from Google’s servers.
- Two cookies are written:
_gaand_ga_S16Z4SB17M. - Page views are reported — the page path and title, the approximate location derived from your IP address, your device and browser type, and the site that referred you.
Google Analytics 4 does not store your IP address; it is used only to derive an approximate location and then discarded. We have not enabled advertising features, remarketing or audience sharing in our analytics property.
How to change your mind
There is a Cookie settings link in the footer of every page. Opening it brings the banner back so you can switch analytics on or off. Changing to “Decline” also deletes the analytics cookies we had already set and stops further reporting. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and Google offers a browser add-on to opt out of Google Analytics across all sites.
How long analytics data is kept
Reports in Google Analytics are kept for a limited retention period, up to a maximum of 14 months. Aggregated, non-identifying statistics may be retained longer.
Third-party services
Hosting, analytics and form delivery are handled by outside providers. Each sees only what it needs to do its job.
Cloudflare (hosting and delivery)
This site is hosted and delivered worldwide by Cloudflare. Cloudflare also provides us with a visitor count. That count is cookieless: it writes nothing to your device and does not follow you to other websites, so it runs without a consent prompt. Beyond that, Cloudflare may apply security measures that use a strictly necessary short-lived cookie to tell real visitors from bots. Such a cookie contains nothing about your enquiry.
Google Analytics
Described in the analytics section above. Loaded only after you accept.
Web3Forms (inquiry delivery)
When you submit the inquiry form, its contents are passed to Web3Forms, which forwards them to our business mailbox. Web3Forms acts as a processor on our instructions and does not use the content for its own purposes.
YouTube (video)
Videos are not loaded automatically. Each video shows a thumbnail stored on our own server, with a play button; the YouTube player is only loaded if you press play. When you press play, YouTube — part of Google — may set cookies and record your IP address, and playback is then governed by Google’s own privacy policy. We use Google’s privacy-enhanced embed mode, which limits what is stored until a video is actually started.
Google Maps (contact page)
The contact page can show an interactive map. It is not loaded with the page: we show the address and a button, and Google’s map is requested only if you press it. At that point Google will see your IP address and may set cookies.
Fonts and other assets
Every font used on this site is stored on our own server. We deliberately removed the common arrangement of loading fonts from a third-party font service, because that would tell that provider your IP address and browser details on every page you read here. As a result, simply browsing this site does not disclose your details to anyone other than our hosting provider.
Where your data goes
We are based in China, so an inquiry you send us is necessarily transferred to and stored in China in order for us to answer it. For visitors in the EU, the EEA or the UK, this transfer is based on your request to receive a quotation or information from us — that is, steps taken at your request before a possible contract.
Some of the service providers listed above (Google, Cloudflare, Web3Forms) process data in the United States and other countries, and rely on standard contractual clauses and equivalent safeguards for those transfers.
If you would prefer not to have your details transferred, you are welcome to get in touch without using the form and ask us to keep the exchange to what is strictly necessary for your question.
How long we keep it
Inquiry correspondence is kept as long as we need it to deal with your question and any order that follows, and afterwards for as long as tax and commercial record-keeping rules require. If an inquiry does not lead anywhere, we do not keep it indefinitely.
If you ask us to delete your inquiry and we are not required to keep it for legal reasons, we will delete it and confirm that we have done so.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask us to do any of the following:
- Tell you what personal data we hold about you, and give you a copy.
- Correct anything that is inaccurate or incomplete.
- Delete your personal data.
- Restrict or object to certain processing.
- Withdraw consent at any time, for example for analytics.
- Provide your data in a portable format.
- Complain to your local data protection authority.
Write to sales@cyprocess.com and say what you would like us to do. We normally reply within 24 hours and will action a request within 30 days. We may ask you to confirm your identity before we release or change anything, so that we do not hand your details to someone else.
How we protect it
This website is served over HTTPS. It keeps no user accounts and no payment details. Inquiries reach a small number of sales and engineering staff who need them to answer you, and we do not build behavioural profiles of visitors.
Children
This site is aimed at industrial and trade buyers. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
If we start using personal data in a materially different way, we will update this page and change the date below. We will not use information you sent us earlier for a new purpose without asking you first.
Version 1.0 — last updated 12 October 2026.
Questions about this policy
If anything here is unclear, or you want to know what we hold about you, write to sales@cyprocess.com. For general enquiries about equipment, the contact page is the fastest route.
