Block Crusher
CYprocess block crushers — also called lump breakers or de-agglomerators — reduce compacted cakes and agglomerates from silos, big bags or dryers back into free-flowing granules. Gentle size reduction protects screens, valves and feeders downstream and keeps line throughput stable.

Overview
About Block Crusher
How this equipment works in powder handling lines and what to consider when selecting it.
Function
Caked or agglomerated powder enters the breaking zone, where rotating elements reduce it to free-flowing granules. It is a breaker rather than a mill: the aim is to restore flowing granules, not to reduce particle size, so dust and fines generation stay low. Product discharges straight to the next machine.
Options and integration
Units mount under hoppers, big bag outlets or dryer discharges, or inline in a duct. Product-contact parts are available in SS304 or SS316L and the crushing elements are replaceable. A block crusher is normally followed by a vibrating screen, screw feeder or vacuum conveyor.

FAQ
Block Crusher FAQ
Common questions about selection, integration and quotation.
Where powder has compacted in a silo, big bag or dryer and no longer flows, or where agglomerates would block a screen, valve or feeder. Breaking lumps early avoids line stoppages and lets the following equipment run at its design rate.
