What the system covers

Sequenced weighing of majors and minors into a common hopper, mixer or process vessel, with recipe selection, feed staging, discharge and batch records.

Accuracy and cycle time

Each ingredient is fed in stages - fast, medium, slow and pulse - so the batch reaches setpoint quickly without overshoot. Hoppers and feeders are sized to the individual powder, since density and flowability vary widely between ingredients.

Dust and traceability

Discharge into mixers is enclosed, with extraction where dust escapes. Batch records list actual weights per ingredient, which supports QA checks and repeatability between operators.

Choosing the weighing method

Gain-in-weight batching weighs the whole hopper as ingredients are added, which suits recipes with many components. Loss-in-weight feeding holds a continuous rate instead, which suits additives that must be fed steadily into an extruder or mixer.

Integration with existing plant

Batching systems are supplied with the interfaces needed to tie into existing mixers, screw conveyors and vacuum lines. Recipe files can be maintained in the controller or driven from the plant control system, depending on how the plant already works.
