Pulse Valve

CYprocess electromagnetic pulse valves — also called diaphragm valves or pulse-jet valves — deliver the short, high-flow compressed-air bursts that clean bag filters. Right-angle (90°) and submerged designs are supplied with matching controllers and spare diaphragms.

Overview

About Pulse Valve

How this equipment works in powder handling lines and what to consider when selecting it.

Right-angle valves

Right-angle valves connect the compressed-air header to the blow tube, and the smooth internal path delivers a compliant cleaning pulse. Typical port sizes run from about Ø20 to Ø102 (¾" to 4") in single or double diaphragm form, with threaded or flanged outlet connections.

Submerged valves and spares

Submerged, or embedded, valves mount inside the air box for lower pressure drop and improved flow, which is preferred where header pressure is limited. Ports cover about Ø25 to Ø102 with double-diaphragm options at the larger sizes. Controllers, pilot solenoids and spare diaphragms support planned maintenance.

FAQ

Pulse Valve FAQ

Common questions about selection, integration and quotation.

A right-angle valve mounts outside the air box and connects to the blow tube at 90°. A submerged valve sits inside the air box, which shortens the flow path and lowers pressure drop, so it is preferred where the available header pressure is limited.
