CYprocess activation hoppers — also called activating or live-bottom hoppers — pair a conical discharge section with a slowly rotating agitator. The agitator keeps the outlet zone moving, so powders that bridge and rat-hole are discharged steadily instead of in avalanches.

Working principle
Product falls into the conical section where a geared agitator turns slowly through the outlet zone. The agitator breaks incipient bridges and keeps the material live above the discharge valve, so downstream feeding stays constant. Speed is low by design — the goal is conditioning, not mixing.
Options and integration
Agitator style, outlet size and drive are selected from the material's flow behaviour. The hopper bolts under silo cones, bag dump hoppers and big-bag discharge frames, and feeds rotary valves, screws or vacuum take-ups. Level switches and vibrators can be combined on the same vessel.

Vibrators work when the powder only needs a shock to start moving. Once material is cohesive enough to form stable bridges, constant low-speed agitation gives steadier discharge without compacting the product the way knocking can. We choose from the material's flow function and the outlet size.
