U-trough (LS-xxU) suits openable troughs, higher rates and multi-outlet layouts. Tubular LS is fully enclosed for cleaner indoor routes and inclined runs of free-flowing powders. For sticky, fibrous or winding materials, choose a shaftless screw.

How do I read the LS capacity figures?

Tables list screw diameter, shaft diameter, pitch, two typical speeds and the corresponding volumetric capacities (m3/h). Actual t/h = m3/h x bulk density x fill factor. Incline reduces capacity - share the install angle when ordering.

Can screw conveyors handle sticky or fibrous materials?

Standard centre-shaft screws can bridge or wrap. Shaftless screws with thick spiral flights and liners are designed for sludge, fibres, biomass and similar difficult products.

Vertical screws lift free-flowing powders and granules in a compact footprint. Standard lifts are often up to about 8 m; custom designs can go higher. They are not suited to large lumps or highly sticky materials.
