What is the difference between drop-through and blow-through rotary valves?

Drop-through valves discharge by gravity into a hopper or chute under the valve. Blow-through valves sit in the conveying air stream so product is picked up directly into a positive-pressure pneumatic line. Choose blow-through when you need metered feed straight into the pipeline; choose drop-through for receivers, silos, filters and gravity outlets.

When should I choose a quick-clean rotary valve?

Quick-clean designs use slide rails or quick-open covers so the rotor can be pulled out for washing. They are preferred for food, pharmaceutical, chemical and plastics lines with frequent product changeovers or strict hygiene rules.

Internal bearings vs outboard bearings — which do I need?
